2024 Leadership Skills for the Next Generation

This two-day leadership skills course offers innovative learning with faculty and peers. A hands-on approach encourages participants to engage with content and faculty leaders at an elevated level and to step outside the box, figuratively and literally.

Registration includes:

1. DiSC® individualized personality assessment with personalized insights about what you naturally do best.
2. Supplemental resources to support further leadership development
3. Access to the pre-course in-person 2.5 hour Striking a Balance: Understanding Pain Management and Opioids pre-course.

• AAHPM Member - $995 ($1,245 after July 8)  
• Nonmember - $1,295 ($1,555 after July 8)

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing. A $150 processing fee will apply to all cancellations. No refunds will be made on cancellations postmarked after July 25, 2024. All refunds will be processed after the course concludes.
If the course moves to a fully virtual meeting, registrants of the in-person meeting will automatically be transferred to the virtual meeting.
AAHPM reserves the right to substitute faculty, cancel or reschedule sessions unforeseen circumstances. No refunds can be made for lodging, airfare, or any other expenses related to attending the summer course offerings.

Continuing Education Credits
The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 
The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
 
Successful completion includes attesting to meaningful activity participation and completion/submission of activity evaluation within the time frame designated.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Recognition Statement
This activity is planned in the context of one or more of the ABMS/ACGME Competencies including Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Professionalism, Systems-Based Practice and Work in Interdisciplinary Teams. AAHPM is seeking approval for Maintenance of Certification points for the Leadership Skills for the Next Generation Course.

It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting MOC credit. By submitting your CME activity evaluation, you grant AAHPM permission to submit completion information to ACCME to grant respective BOARD MOC program credit or points as applicable.
